This Policy explains how BIOTIME uses cookies and similar technologies on its websites and digital services. It should be read with BT-PP-1.0.
1. Purpose
This Cookie Policy explains how Amintara Group Co., Ltd. (“BIOTIME”) uses cookies and similar technologies on biotime.club and other BIOTIME digital services where this Policy is displayed.
2. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small data files or similar identifiers stored on or accessed from a user's device. Related technologies may include local storage, pixels, tags, SDKs or comparable tools. Their operation and legal treatment depend on their purpose and configuration.
3. Our Approach
BIOTIME distinguishes technologies that are strictly necessary for a requested digital service from non-essential technologies used for analytics, preferences, advertising or similar purposes. Where applicable law requires consent before a non-essential technology is used, BIOTIME will seek that consent before activating it.
4. Strictly Necessary Technologies
Strictly necessary technologies may be used to provide security, fraud prevention, session continuity, checkout functionality, load balancing, language or consent-state handling, authentication and other functions required to provide a service requested by the user. Where permitted by law, these technologies may operate without optional cookie consent.
5. Preference Technologies
Preference technologies may remember choices such as language, display preferences or other optional settings. Where consent is legally required, they will not be activated until the user has made the relevant choice.
6. Analytics Technologies
BIOTIME may use analytics technologies to understand website performance, traffic, navigation patterns, conversion and service usage. Analytics tools will be configured and activated in accordance with applicable Thai law. Where consent is required, analytics technologies will remain disabled until consent is obtained.
7. Advertising and Marketing Technologies
BIOTIME may in the future use advertising or conversion technologies, such as pixels or tags associated with advertising platforms, to measure campaigns, attribute conversions, create audiences or support relevant advertising. These technologies are non-essential and will be subject to the applicable consent requirements before activation.
8. Current and Future Providers
The exact technologies used may change as BIOTIME develops its services. Relevant providers may include infrastructure or security providers such as Cloudflare and, if implemented, analytics or advertising providers such as Google, Meta, TikTok or other platforms. A provider will not be treated as active merely because it is listed as a possible future provider. The live consent interface or cookie inventory should identify technologies actually in use.
9. Stripe and Checkout
Payment and checkout functionality may involve Stripe or another supported payment provider. Technologies required to securely process a transaction, prevent fraud or maintain checkout functionality may be treated differently from optional analytics or advertising technologies. Third-party providers may also apply their own cookies or technologies under their own policies.
10. Consent Choices
Where consent is required, BIOTIME's cookie interface should provide meaningful choices, including the ability to accept applicable non-essential technologies, reject non-essential technologies and manage preferences by category where appropriate. Refusing optional technologies must not prevent use of core BIOTIME services unless a particular optional feature genuinely requires the relevant technology.
11. Withdrawing or Changing Consent
Where processing relies on cookie consent, users may withdraw or change their choices through the cookie-preference mechanism made available on the website. Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal.
12. Consent Records
BIOTIME may retain records necessary to demonstrate cookie choices, including consent status, categories selected, timestamp, policy or banner version and technical identifiers reasonably necessary to manage and evidence the choice.
13. Cookie Duration
Some technologies operate only during a browser session, while others may persist for a defined period. BIOTIME will configure retention and expiration periods proportionately to the relevant purpose and, where appropriate, identify them in the live cookie inventory or preference interface.
14. Third-Party Cookies
Some technologies may be set or controlled by third parties. BIOTIME will assess third-party technologies before implementation and will provide appropriate information and consent controls where required. Users should also review the relevant third party's privacy and cookie information.
15. International Processing
Cookie or analytics providers may process data outside Thailand. Where Thai data-protection rules apply to a cross-border transfer, BIOTIME will use appropriate safeguards or transfer mechanisms as required by law.
16. Browser Controls
Users may also control or delete cookies through browser or device settings. Blocking all cookies through a browser may affect strictly necessary functionality or prevent some website features from operating correctly.
17. Do Not Use Dark Patterns
BIOTIME intends to present cookie choices in a clear and balanced manner. Optional consent should not be obtained through misleading design, pre-selected optional categories or an interface that makes refusal unreasonably difficult.
18. Relationship to Privacy Notice
Personal data processed through cookies or similar technologies is also governed by BT-PP-1.0. This Cookie Policy provides additional information specific to online tracking and device technologies.
19. Changes to This Policy
BIOTIME may update this Policy when technologies, providers, law or digital services change. The current version and effective date will be identified. Material changes to consent-dependent processing will be reflected in the relevant consent interface where required.
20. Contact
Questions about cookies, online technologies or related privacy choices should be directed through the official BIOTIME privacy/contact channels published on biotime.club.
